Prof Keir Lewis shows VIrtual PulmonAry Rehabilitation (VIPAR) as good, or better than hospital classes for patient improvements.

We are very proud that work in West Wales with RIW’s Medical Director, Prof Keir Lewis has shown that VIrtual PulmonAry Rehabilitation (VIPAR) is as good as or better than hospital classes for patient improvements but just moving 2 groups (over 7 weeks each) into a local village hall from a hospital saved over 7000 miles of driving.

This highlight on environmental impact, was shortlisted at the Royal College of Physicians showcase in Glasgow with the poster below presented as part of the COP-26 Conference
